Our Funds & Projects

At Cascadia Community TV, our mission is simple: to empower creativity, preserve local culture, and give the people of Oregon a voice on screen.

Through our network of nonprofit media initiatives — Rogue Country TV, Cascadia Community TV, and the Rural Instruments Fund (R.I.F.), we are building a bridge between artistry, education, and community storytelling.

🎶 R.I.F. — The Rural Instruments Fund

Giving the Gift of Music to Rural Oregon Schools

The Rural Instruments Fund (R.I.F.) is the heart of our nonprofit mission — a program that ensures every child in rural Oregon has access to the tools they need to discover music.

Through R.I.F., we donate musical instruments to underserved school districts, creating opportunities for creativity, confidence, and self-expression.

For many rural students, music education is disappearing due to budget cuts. R.I.F. steps in to fill that gap by partnering with schools, teachers, and local musicians to provide:

🎵 Instruments for classrooms and music programs
🎓 Access to lessons, workshops, and mentorship
🎤 Opportunities for students to perform on Cascadia Community TV

Every 5% of revenue from our nonprofit media operations goes directly into R.I.F., ensuring that the next generation of Oregon musicians has the chance to find their sound. You can also donate to the fund directly below.

When you support R.I.F., you’re helping fund the future of creativity — one instrument, one student, one story at a time.

Bringing Back The Heart Of Community TV

Reviving the Spirit of Community Broadcasting

Cascadia Community TV is more than a media project — it’s a movement to bring storytelling back to the people.

Our vision is to merge classic community-access broadcasting with modern social media storytelling, blending the authenticity of local voices with professional production and training.

Through workshops, mentorships, and live field labs, we teach participants hands-on skills in:

🎥 Broadcast production — cameras, lighting, and audio

🗞️ Journalism & storytelling — scriptwriting, field reporting, and hosting

💻 Post-production — editing, graphics, and digital distribution

Our goal is to make media education accessible to everyone — regardless of age, background, or experience. Whether you’re a student learning camera operation or a retiree discovering podcasting, Cascadia offers a place to learn, create, and connect.

We produce original programming that highlights the people, places, and stories of Oregon’s High Desert, from outdoor adventure to small business features, arts coverage, and live events.

When you support Cascadia Community TV, you help us train local storytellers, equip our production teams, and keep community television alive in the digital age.

Rogue Country TV

Ourtlaw Music Television

America’s Only Independent Nonprofit Music Television Network

Rogue Country TV began as a bold idea: to give real musicians — the road-worn, the roots-driven, and the storytellers of the American sound — a platform free from commercial interference.

Today, we stand as the only independent 501(c)(3) music television network in the U.S., dedicated to Americana, Outlaw Country, Red Dirt, Traditional Country, and Southern Rock.

From our home base in Bend, Oregon, we produce and broadcast shows like:

  • Outlaw Saloon — a two-hour showcase of independent artists and live performances.

  • Café Americana — our weekly deep-dive into songwriting, roots culture, and artist stories.

  • Top Ten Countdown — a community-driven celebration of the week’s best new music.

  • RC Tour Bus & Road Reports — on-location coverage from concerts, festivals, and events across the PNW.

Every hour of programming is designed to celebrate independent artistry and give voice to the musicians who define the modern American sound.

When you support Rogue Country TV, you’re helping fund original music programming, artist features, and community-driven production that uplifts the voices of independent artists from Oregon and beyond.
